為期兩天的The Transformation of East Asian Welfare States in the Post Covid19 Era: Challenges, Opportunities and Futures國際研討會已於3月16日順利結束，邀請24位來自香港、日本、南韓、英國與臺灣的學者發表22篇論文，從社會工作、福利政策與遷移等角度，探討東亞福利國家在社會變遷、經濟發展和政治結構的影響下，如何因應詭譎的國際政治經濟環境、新冠肺炎肆虐、低薪、高齡少子化、非典型就業、高房價等問題，並探討不同國家的回應模式、福利體制轉型以及發展趨勢，釐清這些福利體制實現社會正義的核心價值。本研討會共有104人報名參加，參與現場或線上直播的聽眾約有80人。
